Intensive Cardio Vascular Care Unit (ICVCU)
The Intensive Cardio Vascular Care Unit (ICVCU) at National Hospital is an integrated intensive care service and the first of its kind in Eastern Indonesia, specifically designed to manage critically ill patients with cardiovascular, cerebrovascular, and vascular conditions. The ICCVCU is part of the hospital’s Smart-Integrated Cardio Cerebro Vascular Services, emphasizing fast, precise, and comprehensive care within a fully integrated system.
This unit is supported by a multidisciplinary team of specialists who collaborate closely to provide optimal treatment for complex cases such as heart attacks, stroke, and severe vascular disorders. The ICCVCU is equipped with advanced monitoring systems and modern medical technology to ensure continuous patient stability during critical phases.
In addition, the service is integrated with innovative therapy such as Enhanced External Counterpulsation (EECP), a non-invasive treatment that helps improve blood flow to the heart and serves as an additional option for patients with certain heart conditions. The presence of ICCVCU and EECP reflects National Hospital’s commitment to delivering advanced, comprehensive, and high-standard cardiovascular care in Eastern Indonesia.
