National Hospital Strengthens Its Commitment to Healthcare Services Through a Working Visit by BURT of the Indonesian House of Representatives and PT Asuransi Jasa Indonesia

National Hospital welcomed a working visit from the Household Affairs Agency (BURT) of the Indonesian House of Representatives (DPR RI) together with PT Asuransi Jasa Indonesia (Jasindo) as part of the socialization of healthcare service updates and the supervision of the implementation of the Health Insurance Program for Members of the DPR RI and their families.

This visit marked an important opportunity for National Hospital to introduce various service developments, facility innovations, and its ongoing commitment to delivering high-standard healthcare services that prioritize patient safety and are supported by the latest medical technology.

During the visit, the management team of National Hospital presented the hospital’s developments, including increased service capacity, strengthened multidisciplinary centers of excellence, the utilization of digital technology in patient care, and the development of competent and professional healthcare human resources.

National Hospital CEO Ang Hoey Tiong stated that the hospital is ready to compete with hospitals abroad. He believes that in terms of human resources, from physicians to healthcare professionals, as well as facilities, hospitals in Indonesia are no less capable," he said.

Meanwhile, National Hospital CIO Alexander Ang added that National Hospital has also introduced the National Hospital Apps, which connect people from various regions to National Hospital doctors. "People can consult directly with doctors through the application, not through other applications. In addition, all examination records are stored within the application and are more secure," he explained.

On the same occasion, BURT DPR RI conducted a review and supervision of the implementation of the Health Insurance Program for Members of the DPR RI. The activity aimed to obtain a direct overview of the quality of services provided by partner hospitals and to ensure that the program is implemented in accordance with the established service standards.

PT Asuransi Jasa Indonesia, as the program administrator, also expressed appreciation for the synergy that has been established with National Hospital in supporting the delivery of healthcare services for program participants. Strong collaboration between the hospital and the program administrator is considered an important factor in maintaining service quality and participant satisfaction.

The hospital will continue to invest in the development of facilities, technology, and healthcare workforce competencies to meet increasingly complex and dynamic healthcare needs.
