The award night for the Jawa Pos 7 Most Popular Brand of the Year 2024 was a grand event held at Balai Kartini, Jakarta. The awards ceremony, which took place on Tuesday (September 3), is Jawa Pos's recognition of the top 7 brands across 60 categories.

National Hospital was called first to receive the award in the healthcare sector under the category of hospitals.

National Hospital CEO Ang Hoey Tiong was present to accept the award. Also present were the President Commissioner of PT Surabaya Jasa Medika Ang Kok Bin, CIO of National Hospital Alexander Daniel Ang, and Business Development of National Hospital Jamilus, seated among the VIP guests.

From the insurance sector, attendees included Head of Provider Manulife Dr. Andreas Wiryawan, Head of Claim Provider AIA Dr. Yuliana, and Provider Allianz Agus Rivai.

Various innovations have been introduced to meet public health service needs. By the end of 2023, National Hospital became the first hospital in Eastern Indonesia to have MRI technology with an artificial intelligence (AI) system.

Additionally, their AI-powered Fetomaternal ultrasound service is the first of its kind in East Java. Moving forward, National Hospital Surabaya will prepare other Centers of Excellence (COE) to meet patient needs and help patients achieve a high quality of life.
