The Jawa Pos 7 Most Popular Brands of the Year 2024 awards ceremony was held festively at Balai Kartini, Jakarta. The event, which took place on Tuesday (3/9), recognized Jawa Pos's appreciation for the 7 most popular brands across 60 categories.

National Hospital was called up first to receive the award in the healthcare sector for the hospital category.

National Hospital's CEO Ang Hoey Tiong was present to accept the award. Also in attendance were the President Commissioner of PT Surabaya Jasa Medika Ang Kok Bin, CIO of National Hospital Alexander Daniel Ang, and National Hospital’s Business Development Jamilus, who were seated among the VIP guests.

From the insurance sector, attendees included Head of Provider Manulife Dr. Andreas Wiryawan, Head of Claim Provider AIA Dr. Yuliana, and Allianz Provider Agus Rivai.

Ang Hoey Tiong expressed gratitude for the award received. "First of all, on behalf of National Hospital Surabaya, I would like to thank Jawa Pos for their support and collaboration so far. We are very pleased to be able to dedicate ourselves to the Indonesian community," he said.

Ang Hoey Tiong revealed that being one of the 7 most popular brands is a proud achievement for them. “As a token of our appreciation, National Hospital will continue to be committed to improving and enhancing our services to be the best,” he explained.

Various innovations have emerged to facilitate public health needs. By the end of 2023, National Hospital became the first hospital in Eastern Indonesia to have MRI technology with an artificial intelligence (AI) system.

Meanwhile, their AI-powered Fetomaternal ultrasound service is the first technology of its kind in East Java. Moving forward, National Hospital Surabaya will prepare other Centers of Excellence (COE) to address patient needs and aim to help patients achieve a high quality of life.
