Innovation of Comprehensive Treatment and Technology Robotic of Stroke 

The Ministry of Health's official website reported that stroke was the second highest cause of death in the world in 2015. Stroke was the most common cause of death in Indonesia a year ago, in 2014.

So, what about Indonesia's latest stroke prevalence? According to data from the Ministry of Health in 2018 taken via the official website of the relevant agency, the prevalence of stroke in Indonesia based on the doctor's diagnosis of the population aged over 15 years was 10.9 percent or an estimated 2,120,362 people.

Seeing this phenomenon, the National Hospital is trying to get involved in stroke management in Indonesia. One of them is through the Center of Excellence: Stroke and Rehabilitation Center. On September 23, National Hospital held a seminar for medical personnel: doctors.

In this seminar, National Hospital presented speakers ranging from neurosurgery specialists to medical rehabilitation specialists. At the Stroke and Rehabilitation Center on the 6th floor, patients can experience post-stroke medical rehabilitation with technology robotic.

National Hospital is the only hospital in eastern Indonesia that uses robot technology for post-stroke treatment. That way, post-stroke patients can regain their quality of life more quickly.

Maintaining a healthy diet and living is the initial key to avoiding a stroke. It's important to keep in mind that routine screening is also necessary. The National Hospital provides comprehensive stroke treatment services.
