National Hospital Invites the Public to Recognize Varicose Vein Symptoms and the Latest Treatment Methods: No Scars, Minimal Pain, and Faster Recovery

Meanwhile, the clinical signs include telangiectasia (spider veins), protruding veins, edema (both pitting and non-pitting), skin changes such as atrophie blanche, dermatitis, purpura, and even ulcers or wounds on the legs," said Dr. Edwin.

To treat the condition, National Hospital offers several therapy options, including venoactive medications, sclerotherapy (injecting a special solution into problematic blood vessels), EVLT or Endovenous Laser Therapy (using laser heat energy to close and destroy problematic veins from within).
